My Story

A global perspective

I started my coaching career in 2017 as a head coach, moved to Denmark in 2021, and took over Malaysia's national team in 2024. Along the way, I've worked across club programs, national federations, and elite training environments on three continents.

My athletes have reached international finals and podiums, set 40+ national records, and competed at the highest level, including the Paris 2024 Olympics.

But competition outcomes only tell part of the story. My work is defined less by medals and more by problem solving: helping athletes and programs understand why progress has slowed and what needs to change to move forward with confidence.

My approach is systems-driven and athlete-centred. I work at the intersection of technical coaching, training design, and race planning. I'm particularly effective in situations where progress has plateaued, where commitment and effort are present, but clarity is missing.
